Materials & Compliance
Compostable bags are produced from C200 resin certified to TUV OK Compost INDUSTRIAL (EN 13432) and OK Compost HOME (NF T 51-800), with BPI certification for the United States. The certificates are held by our film supplier and cover the resin at a stated maximum thickness: 78 microns for industrial composting and 71 microns for home composting. We check the bag specification against the certificate before quoting, because a bag produced above those thicknesses cannot carry the corresponding claim.
Recycled PE is available for programmes that require recycled content. Documentation requirements differ by destination market and by retailer, so tell us what your buyer requires and we will confirm exactly what can be supplied with the order.
