Product Overview
Water-soluble dog waste bags are produced from PVA film that breaks down when it comes into contact with water. Unlike conventional polyethylene bags, they are designed for programmes where the bag itself is part of the environmental story — municipal composting pilots, eco-positioned retail ranges, and brands replacing PE with a material that disperses rather than persisting.
Because the film behaves differently from PE, the bag is normally specified by dissolution performance rather than by micron alone. We can adjust film grade, thickness and seal specification to match the temperature range and handling conditions of your market, and supply samples so your team can validate performance before committing to a production run.
Private-Label Options
Bag format, size, film thickness, colour, printing and packaging can all be produced to your own specification. We print up to multi-colour artwork on the bag or on a header card, and supply retail-ready cartons, display boxes and dispenser sets under your own brand.
Typical Applications
Eco-positioned dog waste bag ranges, compostable and zero-waste retail programmes, municipal or council waste schemes, and private-label collections where a water-soluble format is the differentiator. Often paired with a recycled or plant-based dispenser to complete the range.

Materials & Compliance
Water-soluble PVA film is supplied with material documentation for the grade used in your project. Because the documentation eco-positioned products require differs between markets, and between retailers within the same market, tell us what your buyer or listing requires and we will confirm exactly which documents can be provided before you commit to an order.
Buyer FAQ
What does water-soluble mean for disposal?
The film is designed to disperse in water rather than behave like conventional PE. Disposal guidance should match the film grade, the certification and local rules.
Does it perform the same in cold water?
Dispersion depends on the film grade and water temperature. Confirm the intended use case and test samples under the conditions your customers will actually use.
